Commitment to Extremadura’s socioeconomic progress has defined the course undertaken by Depaex since its inception in 1994. Sustainable Development, (i.e. the balance between social, economic and environmental spheres), regional resource sequestration; modernisation of economic and business sectors, and gender parity are just some of the features of our philosophy; one that continues to inspire our business ventures while maintaining the creation of quality employment as our main benefit.

Albeit an intricate path and without invoking any triumphalism whatsoever, Depaex has become a leading reference in the Extremaduran Consultancy sector as demonstrated by several accomplished projects, activities and customer relations that appear in further sections of the present Portal. We have come across numerous hurdles in our daily operations but thanks to the key, invaluable contribution of all past and present employees, we have attained the level of success that we presently enjoy.

In addition to traditional business consulting services, we have been engaging in new ventures within recent years (as described in further sections). These ventures range from Consulting for Companies to Energy Consultancy Services. Among these we highlight Environmental Management and Sustainable Development as comprehensive services that Depaex renders to firms, public entities and institutions.

Sustainable Energy is of equal importance to our core business. For that reason, we have founded a specific division called Depaex Sustainable Energy Systems. The said division offers planning, development and distribution of turn-key solar energy solutions. Through our partnership with the top European firm in the industry, SunTechnics of the German group Conergy, we undertake these activities.

In light of the greater opportunities present in Central and Eastern European countries that have recently joined the European Union, Depaex has embarked on an internationalisation process of its core business. By 2008 we will be fully operational in Poland and the Czech Republic and we will further extend our business to Bulgaria and Romania by 2009.
